NEW! Online Time for Two.
An online version of our popular free Time for Two program begins Friday, April 9, 2021.
During this fun activity, you and your child will make a craft, read a story and have time together with other local mothers! Join us each Friday morning from 10 to 11am online via Zoom.

The Women’s Centre’s support groups offer women the psychological and emotional support they need to take up a new challenge, handle a problem, or further develop as individuals. Participants share their experience, support each other, and receive information and advice.
The groups are free of charge, but donations are welcomed.

The Centre has heard from women looking for volunteer opportunities. Some wish to support the organization, while others are hoping to relieve their feelings of isolation.
As part of our search for innovative measures through which community members can remain engaged, we are launching an intergenerational connection program.
With their life experiences, seniors represent an untapped source of support. Be it personal or professional, we could all benefit from their knowledge.

Every session, the West Island Women's Centre offers both weekly and monthly support groups to all women of the larger community.
We are currently accepting proposals for 8-week support groups.
Our support group facilitators provide content, guidance, and encourage discussion and sharing. It is crucial for the facilitator to create a safe space for women participating to be heard and feel validated.

We are very pleased to have a Senior Social Hour every Friday at 1pm at the West Island Women's Centre. It will start on Friday, September 25th.
All physical distancing measures will be in place, with the group meeting outside as much as possible.

Since October 2005, we have been offering Time for Two, an arts and crafts program for young families in the CLSC Lac St. Louis territory. The purpose of this activity is to break isolation and support all families, especially those headed by young mothers, low-income families, or recent immigrant families in Canada.

Healing Together is an evening online support group for women dealing with miscarriage, still birth or infant death.
In this workshop you will learn about the incredible benefits laughter has on the mind and body. You will be guided through warm-up exercises and during the workout will alternate between laughter exercises, rhythmic clapping, and deep breathing exercises.
