Cultivating the Habits of Supremely Happy People
In recent years, there have been a number of studies that look at the habits of people who are generally happy. We will focus on a few of these habits each support group meeting. Participants will be expected to try and develop these habits over the course of the sessions, to journal about the results of implementing these habits, and then share what they have learned from this process with the group. We will also look at the difference between moments of happiness and real joy that lasts and how to cultivate this deeper form of happiness. This 8-week group will be facilitated by Anna Szczygielski, B.Ed.
Meetings will take place on Thursdays from 7 to 9 p.m. beginning September 29.
The group is free of charge, but donations are welcomed. Registration is required. ** Please note that participants are limited to attending no more than two support groups per year.** To join the group, please call the Women’s Centre’s Outreach Line at 514-781-8529 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org. Space is limited. Meetings take place at the West Island Women’s Centre, located at St. Columba-by-the-Lake Church, 11 Rodney Ave., Pointe-Claire. (Please use the Vincennes Ave. parking lot entrance.)
