Fair trade has become a common term in our world with a variety of meanings. Dix Mille Villages/ Ten thousand Villages has worked for 38 years in Canada to pay fair wages to artisans, who are often women. From communities throughout the developing world, every inspired design is crafted with love using local materials (usually natural or recycled) and time honoured skills. These long term, fair trade relationships improve the lives of artisans by supporting their craft and providing a fair, stable income, which allows them to support their families and their communities.

Come and learn about gifted artisans, and how your purchases can make a difference!
Hear individual stories. Enjoy activities and discussion about the transformative power
of fair trade.
