Growing a garden takes planning. This course will enable participants new to gardening to feel more comfortable with the steps required to create and maintain a garden of their own choosing. Participants will learn about the best plants to use for their garden through an analysis of their own site conditions, a needs assessment, and a presentation of slides of the multitude of plants that exist in today’s market. Garden design principles will be presented along with plant selection tips, soil preparation, and maintenance tips. Think spring! Think outdoors!
