WOMEN WHO DARE TO ASK “WHY?”
In a time where women find less and less opportunities to get in touch with themselves; their dreams, their strife, their ambitions in life, never have we been encouraged to do so more than right now.
This is a refreshing new 8-week support group that will explore our role as wives, sisters, mothers, daughters, employees, etc. This group allows us to take a look at these roles and decide how they are or are not working for us.
Do you want more in life? It is okay to challenge and question the way things are. We will provide the context and opportunity for women to come together in a supportive, confidential and safe environment to share, contemplate and ask questions. Striving for happiness and progress will be celebrated in the comfort of our time together.
This group will be facilitated by Debbie Oestreich B.A, Consultant in Human Behaviour and Mental health. Meetings will take place on Wednesdays from 7 to 9 p.m., beginning on April 17, 2019
The groups are free of charge, but donations are welcomed. Registration is required. To join a group, please call the Women’s Centre’s Outreach Line at 514-781-8529 or e-mail email@example.com. Space is limited. Meetings take place at the West Island Women’s Centre, located at St. Columba-by-the-Lake Church, 11 Rodney Ave., Pointe-Claire. (Please use the Vincennes Ave. parking lot entrance.)
