Peri-menopause and Menopause: Significant Issues

Wednesday 1:00 – 3:00 p.m.
Upstairs Classroom

Women experience a number of stages over a life span. The changes signaled by peri-menopause and menopause are rarely seen as simply closure to a woman’s reproductive years, although that is indeed meaningful. A confluence of factors during this transition period can also include physiological, emotional and social realities of a woman’s life. This course will touch on all these factors including the changes in a woman’s sexuality. Perhaps most importantly, this course will be constructed by the participants in order to ensure their questions and experiences will be addressed.
