As children develop, their eating patterns occasionally take a hit and the meal that tends to be skipped the most is breakfast. Breakfast provides the energy to start the day, which is especially needed by children and teens who spend long hours learning at school. Furthermore, there have been studies that have proven adopting healthy eating patterns helps to protect against obesity. This seminar will inform you on the importance of good nutrition for children and adolescents and provide useful tips that can be applied at home.

Our Presenter, Virginia Spoerry, is a level 3 McGill University Dietetics Student.

Free childcare for preschool-aged children is also available, but you must register for this service by 3 p.m. the day before the seminar takes place.

Register online for this seminar or call the Women’s Centre at 514-695-8529.
