Childcare Services
The Centre provides free childcare to every mother registered for our programs and activities. This ensures that every member can engage fully in the courses or support groups with the knowledge that their children are being well taken care of nearby.
This reliable childcare service is available to all members and community program participants. During the week, childcare is available for children under the age of six. On weekends, children up to the age of eight can participate. Registration in advance is required.
To register:
- Please register online for both your class and the corresponding childcare.
- Be sure to sign up for childcare for every class you’re taking.
Occasional Childcare
Occasional childcare services are available to current members registered in a class when their regular childcare program isn’t available (e.g., during PED days, or temporary daycare closures). This includes children from the newborn stage up to eight years of age. Spaces are limited and must be reserved in advance.
To register:
- Email childcare@wiwc.ca up to one week in advance.
- Await confirmation of availability for the specified time slot.
- Suggested donation: $5 per child.
Reminders:
- If your child is sick, do not bring them to the Centre. Cancel your spot as soon as possible (childcare@wiwc.ca).
- We are a nut free facility. Please remember that snack products with nuts are prohibited.
