Winter Walking Club

Are you looking for a new way to motivate yourself to get outdoors during the winter season? Chase away the winter blues and join our walking club. The group is led by two devoted members and they meet every Monday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. The group walks for 90 min., snow, rain or shine so dress appropriately. This activity is free to all members including moms with stroller. Occasional childcare for pre-school aged children is available, please contact Iva at iva.rooney@wiwc.ca in advance. Walking with a friend is a great way to take the hard work out of working out and can improve your overall fitness and cardiovascular health. Get up and get moving!

Free Seminar: How to Help Your Anxious Teen
Mar 28 @ 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm

This seminar will give you a better understanding of what anxiety is, what may be contributing to your teen’s anxiety, and what you can do to help. Our presenter, Yael Gutner, M.A. (Counselling Psychology), is a counsellor for youth and adults.
