Become a member

Enjoy access to our programs, events, and resources while helping us sustain the heart of our community. You can become a member of the West Island Women’s Centre when you register for a class. The annual membership fee is $20, and you can join at any point in the year between September and June.

Become a teacher/facilitator

Our Centre welcomes applications from experienced anglophone and francophone instructors and support group facilitators. If you have an idea for a class, workshop, or activity to teach, we’d love to hear it. Share your ideas and help us keep our community fresh with exciting learning opportunities.

Volunteer

Volunteers are an essential part of the West Island Women’s Centre. Volunteers sit on our Board of Directors, join our committees, and help in many ways around the Centre. Share your time, skills, and energy to support women through our programs and events.

Depending on how many hours you are available, you can join us on a weekly basis in the office or help us plan and organize an event. Our office is a friendly, warm environment. If you enjoy meeting new people, then please email our Operations Manager at operations@wiwc.ca and let us know how you would be willing to help.

Organize a fundraiser

You have the power to make a difference right here in our community. Start your own fundraiser and make a direct impact in the lives of the women at the Centre. Whether it’s hosting a bake sale, running (or walking) 5k, or starting an online campaign, your fundraiser can help the West Island Women’s Centre. Every dollar raised helps and changes the lives of the women in our community.
