Support Groups

The Centre’s support groups offer women the psychological and emotional support they need to take up a new challenge, handle a problem, or further develop as individuals. Participants share their experiences, support each other, and receive valuable information and advice.

The groups are free of charge, but donations are always welcome.

Dealing with Separation and Divorce

This support group aims to provide emotional support to women going through separation or divorce, to offer guidance navigating this transformative process, and to offer support in making crucial decisions for their and their family’s future. Although the practical aspects of divorce are discussed, such as legal and financial considerations, the main goals of this group are (1) to support each other emotionally through this healing process, (2) to foster connections amongst the participants, and (3) to build a positive future together.

Healing Together

The Healing Together support group is an online group for women dealing with miscarriage, still birth, or infant death. Participants can connect with other women who have experienced similar loss and can receive help to work through their grief and loss. The priority of this group is to offer help and encouragement; helping participants to see a path forward.

The group is led by a counselor and social worker who will lead a discussion on a different topic each month. If you would prefer to just come and listen, you are welcome to do that too. Join us at any time and participate in as many meetings as you wish.

Fertility Support Group

This online support group aims to create a supportive environment where individuals can come together to share their challenges with fertility. Participants are encouraged to ask questions, support each other, and feel empowered through learning more about infertility. The main goals of this group are to help members feel understood and less isolated in their experiences, and to build a community that encourages emotional well-being and mutual support.
