Share Your Time. Strengthen Your Community.

Volunteers are an essential part of the West Island Women’s Centre. By sharing your time, skills, and energy, you can help us create meaningful programs, welcoming events, and opportunities for women to connect, learn, and feel supported.

Whether you are looking to become more involved in your community, meet new people, contribute your professional skills, or support a cause you care about, there are many ways to make a difference.

Ways You Can Get Involved

Volunteer opportunities may include:

  • Supporting our team in the office
  • Helping to plan, organize, or run special events
  • Joining one of our committees
  • Sharing professional or creative skills
  • Assisting with community outreach or fundraising initiatives
  • Serving on our Board of Directors

Opportunities vary throughout the year depending on the Centre’s needs, upcoming projects, and events.

Find an Opportunity That Fits Your Schedule

You do not need to make a large time commitment to have an impact. Some volunteers help regularly in the office, while others contribute to a specific event or short-term project.

Our Centre offers a friendly, welcoming environment where you can connect with others while supporting women throughout the West Island community.
