A Few Important Updates for Our Members

Before Fall registration opens, we would like to share a few changes to our annual membership fee and program pricing.

These updates are designed to make membership more flexible, simplify fees, and make program costs easier to understand.

The annual membership fee is now $25

The annual membership fee is increasing from $20 to $25. This is the first increase in several years.

Your membership helps the Centre continue to provide:

  • Affordable programs and activities
  • Free on-site childcare
  • Support groups
  • Community initiatives
  • A welcoming place where women can learn, connect, and find support

Membership is required to register for paid programs. It is not required for free activities, including support groups and select community programs.

Membership is now valid for 12 months

Previously, memberships were valid from September to June. Starting this fall, your membership will be valid for a full 12 months from the date of purchase.

This gives you greater flexibility to participate in programs throughout the year, regardless of when you become a member.

Some programs now include more classes

You may notice that the total registration fee for some programs is higher this fall. This does not necessarily mean that the cost per class has increased.

Many programs will now run over a longer period and include more classes. The total registration fee reflects the number of classes included.

$6.30 per class $6.30 per class

 

In this example, the overall registration fee is higher because the fall program includes four additional classes. The cost per class remains the same.

*Please note: Program fees are rounded to the nearest dollar. As a result, the total registration fee and cost per class shown above may differ slightly by a few cents due to rounding.

We encourage you to review the number of classes listed in each program description when comparing fees.

Consumable fees are now included

Consumable and material fees are now included in the program registration price.

This means there will be no additional fee to pay after registration for materials used in programs such as cooking classes, children’s programs and/or workshops.

You will be able to see the complete cost of the program from the beginning.
