You are invited to join us for our 2023 Annual General Meeting at the West Island Women’s Centre (11 Rodney, Pointe-Claire). This meeting will be HYBRID (in person and online) and will take place on Thursday, June 15th at 12 pm. A light lunch and refreshments will be served. Welcome Event
Our annual Welcome Event returned this year! WIWC staff, board and members came together to toast to new season! It was a chance to meet other members, learn about the Centre's programs, and exchange books and puzzles.

Silent Auction Fundraiser
The 24th Annual Silent Auction Fundraiser event was a fantastic success! Together, we raised $22,000 benefitting the West Island Women’s Centre!
The event kicked-off with Jessica Rusnak, Sports Columnist from CBC Daybreak, our incredible emcee revealing 12 amazing door prizes! There was something for everyone. With more than 340 items up for bid, it was a night of excitement and shopping extravaganza for our 220 plus guests. WIWC Marks Volunteer Appreciation Week
We would like to thank all our volunteers who give their time, support, and dedication to our mission.
Annual Silent Auction – Thank You!
What a night! This year's Silent Auction was a huge success! Together we raised $17,000 to help run our programs. Guests had fun bidding on a huge range of items, everything from massages to toys to snow removal contracts! They also enjoyed listening to our wonderful emcee Sharon Hyland from Chom 97 7 while having a drink and enjoying delicious home-made appetizers. Some guests won door prizes, particularly popular was the free class of your choice at the WIWC.

2018 Volunteer Lunch
We held our Volunteer lunch this year on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 to say a big THANK YOU to the many volunteers who support the Women's Centre. Guests enjoyed an Italian themed party at the Centre including a delicious Italian lunch.
During the award ceremony, we recognized some of our outstanding volunteers. Awards were given as follows:
