This meeting will be HYBRID (in person and online) and will take place on Thursday, June 15th at 12 pm. A light lunch and refreshments will be served. PARENTING 1-6 YEAR OLDS CONVERSATION AND SUPPORT GROUP
A healthy relationship between parents and their young kids can lay the foundation for lifelong health and well-being. When parents receive the support they need to foster close connections with their kids no matter their child’s stage of development, they are best able to truly enjoy this season of life with their family. The Women’s Centre endeavors to provide support to all of the women who seek its services – mothers, women with part-time or full-time jobs outside the home, seniors, and women in financial difficulty. Our free outreach initiatives include support groups, Moms & tots activities, seniors groups, language classes, female adolescent programs and programs for women who have recently immigrated to our country.

Free Support Groups
The Women’s Centre’s support groups offer women the psychological and emotional support they need to take up a new challenge, handle a problem, or further develop as individuals. Participants share their experience, support each other, and receive information and advice.
The groups are free of charge, but donations are welcomed.

Welcome to the beginning of a very special year at the West Island Women’s Centre! This year, we celebrate our organization’s 40th anniversary. We have arrived at this important milestone thanks to a huge number of women. From the small group who worked together to create our organization back in 1975 to last year’s stellar team of volunteers and staff, the Women’s Centre’s story is filled with hardworking and inspiring women.
