Childcare Services
Childcare at the Women’s Centre
We offer free childcare to ensure that every mother can fully engage in our diverse programs and activities with peace of mind. Our childcare service empowers women to pursue personal growth, community involvement, and self-improvement without the worry of finding reliable care.
Our free childcare service is available for members and community program participants. Weekday care is offered for children under 6 years, and on weekends for children up to age 8. Children must be registered in advance. A $5 fee per child applies for occasional care.
To register for childcare:
- Please register online for both your class and the corresponding childcare.
- Be sure to sign up for childcare for each class you’re taking.
- Please do not register for childcare unless you will use it regularly.
Occasional Care:
We offer occasional childcare for members and participants who need it on days when their regular childcare isn’t available or on ped days. If you’re registered in a class and require this service, please email childcare@wiwc.ca at least 24 hours in advance. There’s a $5 fee per child.
