Fall 2023 Community Outreach Schedule – Free Activities
The Women’s Centre endeavors to provide support to all of the women who seek its services – mothers, women with part-time or full-time jobs outside the home, seniors, and women in financial difficulty. Our free outreach initiatives include support groups, Moms & tots activities, seniors groups, language classes, female adolescent programs and programs for women who have recently immigrated to our country.
The groups are free of charge, but donations are welcomed. Registration is required. Space is limited.

Since October 2005, we have been offering Time for Two, an arts and crafts program for young families in the CLSC Lac St. Louis territory.

Every session, the West Island Women's Centre offers both weekly and monthly support groups to all women of the larger community.
We are currently accepting proposals for 8-week support groups.
Our support group facilitators provide content, guidance, and encourage discussion and sharing. It is crucial for the facilitator to create a safe space for women participating to be heard and feel validated.
