An online version of our popular free Time for Two program begins Friday, January 22nd.
During this fun activity, you and your child will make a craft, read a story and have time together with other local mothers! Join us each Friday morning from 10 to 11am online via Zoom.
A free craft kit will be prepared for each family every month. That way you will have access to all the materials that Iva will use during each session. In addition to stories and crafts, there will be engaging educational activities for your little ones each time.

Support Groups
The Women’s Centre’s support groups offer women the psychological and emotional support they need to take up a new challenge, handle a problem, or further develop as individuals. Participants share their experience, support each other, and receive information and advice.
The groups are free of charge, but donations are welcomed.
Registration is required. To join a group, please call the Women’s Centre’s Outreach Line at 514-781-8529 or e-mail outreach@wiwc.ca. Space is limited.

Women in Isolation Support Group – Winter 2021 Dates
Having less social contact due to restrictions of the pandemic is having a profound effect on many of our community members' mental health.
This discussion-led support group is to help women in isolation connect in a meaningful way, learn coping skills and strategies to create balance, find happiness and feel peace in their current reality and beyond.

Every session, the West Island Women's Centre offers both weekly and monthly support groups to all women of the larger community.
We are currently accepting proposals for 8-week support groups.
Our support group facilitators provide content, guidance, and encourage discussion and sharing. It is crucial for the facilitator to create a safe space for women participating to be heard and feel validated.
