WIWC HOLIDAY SCHEDULE

The office is open until Tuesday, December 21 at 3:00 p.m., when the West Island Women’s Centre will close for the holiday break. The office will re-open on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 and most courses will begin the week of January 10th. Our online course participants will receive their login details during the week prior to the start of classes. For our in-person courses, if there is a need to move them online, we will be ready to do so. For any urgent inquiries, please email womenscentre@wiwc.ca. For all other inquiries, we will respond once the office is open on January 5th. We wish you a safe and relaxing holiday!

Participate in our Seniors’ Social Hour on Fridays

Are you, or a senior in your life, in need of some social contact this fall? We are very pleased to have a Senior Social Hour every Friday at 1pm at the West Island Women's Centre. It will start on Friday, September 25th. All physical distancing measures will be in place, with the group meeting outside as much as possible. Free seminar: Laughter Wellness

In this workshop you will learn about the incredible benefits laughter has on the mind and body. You will be guided through warm-up exercises and during the workout will alternate between laughter exercises, rhythmic clapping, and deep breathing exercises.
