Silent Auction Fundraiser
The 24th Annual Silent Auction Fundraiser event was a fantastic success! Together, we raised $22,000 benefitting the West Island Women’s Centre!
The event kicked-off with Jessica Rusnak, Sports Columnist from CBC Daybreak, our incredible emcee revealing 12 amazing door prizes! There was something for everyone. With more than 340 items up for bid, it was a night of excitement and shopping extravaganza for our 220 plus guests. Breastfeeding Drop-in Clinic on Thursday afternoons
Every Thursday
1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
St. Columba Church Hall (adjacent to the kitchen)
Breastfeeding moms, new moms, and expectant moms are invited to drop by the weekly breastfeeding clinic run by our local health service (CIUSSS ODIM/MWI IUHSSC). It’s a great opportunity to meet other moms, weigh your baby, and discuss your health questions with a nurse. Different topics will be discussed, depending on the needs of the group. A nourishing drop-in for mom and baby/child! Spouses supporting their breastfeeding partners are welcome too!

Fun and Games Afternoon!
Let's have some fun together! Join us on Tuesday, May 26 from 1 to 3 p.m. for a Fun and Games Afternoon. We're getting together for talk, laughs, and games too! Bring a deck of cards or your favourite board game. You are welcome to bring a nut-free snack to share. This activity will take place in the Upstairs Classroom.

West Island Community Resource Centre (CRC)
The West Island Community Resource Centre (CRC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving individual and collective well-being in the West Island. Note that there are no classes during the first week of March (February 29 to March 4, 2016).
