Improve with Improv: Acting Your Way to Greater Emotional Intelligence

April 17, 2014 @ 7:00 pm

Our ability to successfully identify, manage, and express emotion is the key to success in all aspects of our personal and professional lives. Through the creative and collaborative process of improvisation, you will develop practical skills and become more adept at recognizing and responding to emotional cues. Whether you are looking to sharpen your sales skills, resolve conflicts more effectively, or try something completely new and exciting, come improve your emotional intelligence with improv! This 7-week support group is facilitated by Amanda Silveira, an actor with an educational background in professional theatre and human relations.

Meetings will take place on Thursdays from 7 to 9 p.m. starting on April 17, 2014.

Free of charge, but registration is required. To join one of our support groups, please call the Women’s Centre’s Outreach Line at 514-781-8529 or e-mail Space is limited.
